Milo’s last post…

::cue somber music::

A freeze...

not the snow kind like many of you have lived through

but a freeze that kills tropical plants

blew through here this winter…

Much damage to repair

or mourn

So... my trusty new bug friend

Milo and I

with clippers and machete in hand

went to survey the damage

...and commence chopping

we’ve learned living here…through hurricanes

that nature is beautifully resilient

most things will come back with a vengeance.

that is good

But...

there is also a true beauty in what is left behind

So I brought some in

why not?

Milo was having a ball…

And then HE came

We’ve recently been bit by a bug…

Milo...

the world hopping millennium bug came to our casa via the post man

had to take off his handmade fur coat… it’s Florida for heaven’s sakes.

This little bug can haul hammer

Bigg Butt has two different fabrics

a linen{ish} on the outside and back…and

the tropical colored IKAT on the inside.

Even bugs need 15 minute breaks
